KeepOnTop
Content
Introduction
When working with paper, it's easy to hold one paper over another one while writing on the bottom one. When working on a PC, however, only the active program is normally on top. Not with KeepOnTop: You can easily have Internet Explorer float over your spreadsheet-application or have one explorer window fly over the other when copying files. KeepOnTop allows you to keep a window on top by just pressing a hotkey, and you can have two different sets of windows floating and change between them with a hotkey (Switching, however, does not work with all windows yet...).

A Suggestion...
Many Linux/Unix window-managers have support for keeping windows above others built in, for example KDE. You can control the behavior either via a hotkey or via the window-menu. If you want to give KDE on Linux a try, feel free to download a Knoppix-live CD.
